So, I guess I should have stayed a little longer instead of insisting that we leave when we did. I was just getting frustrated after waiting so long, hungry, tired, and wanting a shower.
As it turns out, I took first in my age group, 9th among all male duathletes, and 11th overall (of 70). So, no more bridesmaid podiums and finally the bride! Well, you know what I mean! =)

what an awesome finish! Very nice work...always fun when all the training comes together and pays off on race day. CONGRATS!
