Another personal best smashed by 3 minutes

The more I include the EAS Protein powder in my recovery food, the more I'm convinced it's giving me the ability to ride one day pretty hard and then turn around and ride the next day hard too.

Saturday's ride was certainly a hard effort, Sunday's ride was another hard effort and this evening I left the house feeling terrific on the bike again. My personal best for the weekly short route was 52:20 and this evening I completed it in 49:00. I had a slow leaker on the rear about 3/4 of the way through the ride but that stopped me for only a few minutes. Thank goodness for the Polar stopping it's recording when it senses no data is being transmitted (basically whenever the bike is stopped).

I think I'm sold on the value of including protein in recovery efforts.
