Brynne ran away

Brynne ran away today. Mike left early in the morning and when I went out to water my veggie garden and clean up the backyard I let Brynne off the leash to run around. Well, it never dawned on me that Mike left through the back which meant the gate was open. Brynne figured it out before it was too late. So now my short haired people loving dog has been gone all day and it's been chilly today and only going to be chillier tonight. I can only hope she's smart enough to stay off the major streets and gets found and her chip scanned. I didn't have her collar on because I accidentally got her ear last week when I was putting it on and she has refused to let me put it on since.
