Psycho squirrel attacks house!

I had the front door open since it was gorgeous weather out and a squirrel comes walking up to the front porch. It sees me and freezes for a bit. After awhile it climbs on the fan we have sitting on the porch that we plug in when it's hot in the house and blow in the cooler air.

Suddenly, the squirrel jumps onto the fan and starts climbing on it like a hamster to the side of its cage. It then jumps at the vinyl siding and bounces back when it figured it couldn't hold on. A little more acrobatics on the fan and it walks over to the screen door and smells along the bottom. It then decides to climb the screen door. At that time Cassie thinks she has a playmate or at least something to entertain her and lunges at the inside of the screen door to investigate what the thing is and likely defend her territory. Cassie didn't know what to make of it before I could swat her off and the squirrel was totally still. I thought it was getting a little scary that this squirrel was acting so erratic and bold. I slammed the front door thinking it would just jump off and scurry away but instead it just hung there on the door looking at me. At that point, I just closed the door to keep Cassie safe and the screen door in one piece. 5 minutes later it decided there was no more fun to be had and scurried off.
