Saturday morning I went out riding with Alex. We did another 60 miles and we both felt better. He felt better because he made sure he ate and drank more during the ride. I felt better because my legs just felt better under me. They always responded without hesitation to whatever I asked them to do whether it be a silly uphill sprint or a steady state high effort push for a few miles.
I went to see Dirty Dancing the musical and a comedy show later that evening at the Staples Center. I didn't know what to expect of the musical. The last musical I attended was probably in middle school on a field trip so it's been awhile. I was pleasantly surprised. The inside of the Pantageous theater is gorgeous and very ornate. The production was phenomenal. I know it's generally a girl's type of thing to see Dirty Dancing but it really impressed me to the point I've started thinking about seeing another. It really was a fun time.
