Nothing much eventful happened Saturday. I did some homework and that's about it. Sunday I went out riding with Alex. We're currently trying to find a way to extend our mileage on our local ride. This coming weekend I race and the following weekend is another 80 miler down to Solana Beach. The ride on Sunday felt good. It was about 65 miles and the weather was cooler than it has been so that helped things a little bit.
Today, Lorelei and I went down to Huntington Beach and rented a kayak. There's a really laid back place down there that rents tandems at $25 for 2 hours. It was a nice day down there and the homes around the little bay area we went around ranged from really needing TLC to gorgeous. Of course people's boats docked next to their properties ranged in the same fashion. Must be nice...
