Hi Dawn! =)
Went down to the River Trail today to put in about 60 miles in preparation for Tucson in November. I was a little curious to see how I had recovered from the two rides this past week.
I felt good the entire ride. I led 90% of it, ahead of Mike and Alex. Along the way, according to Mike, I had picked up anywhere from 15 to 20 other riders at a given time. It's really cool to have a long train of riders behind you. Even if you don't know it at the time. =)
Alex and I finished the ride totaling 57.1 miles in 2:47 (20.3 mph avg. speed). My previous time back in March with aero bars on the road bike was 2:55. The improvement is nice to see and I didn't feel any different than if I had ridden 40 miles.
I received my racing stickers in the mail today. I purchased them for the TT and road bikes since I do race both (just one more than the other)...one for each side of the top tube. They send way more than enough to do the job though. Do they expect you to have 5 bikes? Maybe they just come off in time or something. In either case, they look nice (nicer in person). They were made by Victory Circle Graphix.

sweet stickers, Scott...and I'll forgive the cell phone comment! :-)
I've been a bit out of "blog" world this week. It stinks when work actually takes up WAY more of your life than you want it to!
Anyway, sounds like things are good for you - glad you didn't have any real trouble with the earthquake - that's nuts!
