Glendora Mountain Road today

Mike, Don and I rode up GMR this morning. We started around 6:30 when it was still nice and cool. Mike rode it in an hour which bested his previous time of 1:05. Don rode it in around 45 minutes and I did it in around 42:30. I took off about 2 minutes off my previous best. It wasn't fun besting my previous time at all though. I was clearly gasping for air when I finished climbing the 7.5 mile 2500 foot ride. The dry heave factor from an effort like this was also a near miss. When you almost dry heave at the end of a ride/race, you know you've given everything you could! =)
