I haven't posted a little longer than usual. Sorry about that.
I was supposed to go r

ide GMR last Saturday morning but was getting irritated with numerous things in and out of work so I decided to go ride the SART for 40 miles angrily to relieve stress. Plus, I just miss being on the TT bike. Since Piru has been cancelled two months in a row and I'm preparing for Tucson in November, the TT bike has been collecting dust. That's not exactly what I paid good money to build it for. The ride was part of what I needed. The rest came on a spontaneous trip down to San Diego for the remainder of Saturday and returning home Sunday afternoon.

I cannot express how much I love the San Diego Wild Animal Park. I think I like it as much as I do because it's open. There are no cages. You get to see the animals in a natural state in an environment that as closely resembles Africa as SoCal can provide. If you ever get the opportunity to go, DO! You will never want to go to a zoo again. I love it so much that at 30, I've already thought about making some sort of estate donation when I die. Going there and spending the rest of

the afternoon until closing at 9 pm topped off my day. I was a happy camper after that.
We got some great pictures of the lions. New cubs were born Nov. 2007 and they certainly were full of themselves with mom and dad.

I've updated my race schedule a bit. I will be participating in another Tri relay in October and competing in the Southern California TT Series which holds 16 races over 8 months. There are no races held during out hot months...which makes sense.
