Alex and I rode 65 miles this morning. The weather is nice and cool but the wind was present making things tougher at times. We had the occasional drizzle but nothing substantial. I don't think we saw nearly as many cyclists out today compared to previous weeks. Must be the fair weather riders. =) Now I'm just at home kicking the legs up and waiting for the afternoon football games to start.

Earlier this year after I successfully summited Mt. Whitney I finally figured out how Dawn felt after she completed her Ironman. Where do you go from there and what do you do next? Of course I will revisit Mt. Whitney next year to get my pictures that I didn't get when I lost my camera. Pictures are so important to be able to share your achievement and show those that haven't been or can't do it. I've set a 5 year goal for myself since I've done Whitney. By 2015 I will travel to Tanzania, Africa and backpack Mt. Kilimanjaro ("Kili" for short). This obviously will not be a solo trip. Well, it will be just me going but I will join other people I don't know also paying for the guided trip. So, we'll see what Ernest Hemingway loved so much about it with any luck.
